Sisters Folk Festival  | September 11-13
Happening since 1995, The Sister’s Folk Festival is an annual tradition of American roots music, from blues to bluegrass, taking place right after Labor Day weekend in the quaint town of Sisters, OR. This year, the festival will feature the sounds of The Duhks, Eric Bibb, Keith Greeninger Band with Bill Payne, Ruth Moody Band, Shakey Graves, Anaïs Mitchell and Black Prairie among other recognizable names in the folk music industry. Oktoberfest | September 19-20  
Downtown Bend’s Oktoberfest will take place September 20 and 21 on Oregon Ave and is free to attend! An annual fall tradition, the event features Bavarian foods, beer and fun! Activities include yodeling, hammerschlagen (race to hammer a nail into a custom table), a stein holding contest, a costume contest, tricycle races, Medieval Swordplay, The Wiener Dog Parade, and the Wiener Dog Races.
