Things to do in Bend, December 2013

There's snow on the mountain and winter is definitely starting to make an appearance in Bend, Oregon. Here are some of the fantastic events happening in December 2013 in Bend and Central Oregon.

Bend traditions happen the first weekend in December: the Jingle Bell Run and Downtown Christmas Parade. The Jingle Bell Run is a 5K run benefiting the Arthritis Foundation. Get your jingle bells on, reindeer ears and gather your friends and form a team. After the race, stick around for the Christmas Parade wrapping around downtown.

On December 7, Harmony 4 Women is back at the Tower Theatre with their annual performance. 2013's theme will be "That's What Friends are For" and features dozens of ladies voices joined together in four-part harmony. The concert benefits Grandma’s House, Women’s Resource Center of Central Oregon, and Bella Acapella Harmony.

The 2013 USA Track & Field Club Cross Country Nationals will be in Bend on December 13-14 at our golf course, River's Edge. The course will start and end at the golf course and will provide the perfect challenge to see which team is at the top of their game. Event details on their website.
