Bend, OR – July 25, 2005 – Crossings Prime Steakhouse at the Riverhouse Resort in Bend, Oregon presents an extensive menu of fine wines offering the perfect bottle of wine to compliment any entrée or appetizer. Crossings Restaurant, known for its impeccable steaks, and homemade desserts, has been awarded the Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence” for 2005, making this the thirteenth year in a row for Crossings to receive this award.

Offering one of the largest wine selections in Oregon, Crossings features a variety of excellent wines from some of the world’s most famous vineyards. This award recognizes establishments that carry a distinctive wine list and Crossings offers a variety of choices from all over the world including famous Pinot’s from Oregon, Merlot’s from Washington, Cabernet’s from California as well as specialty wines from Italy and Europe.

In addition to offering Central Oregon’s most extensive wine list, Crossings offers Prime beef, from world famous Chicago Stockyards Beef Company as well as fresh Northwest seafood, gourmet salads, mouth-watering desserts. Crossings is open daily serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence” recognizes restaurants that show a special commitment to their fine wine list.  Selection criteria include a sufficient selection of “better producers” along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.  The list must meet a minimum of at least 80 selections.
