High Strung brings a rich blend of traditional music from several regions of the world to Currents at Riverhouse Lodge.

Steve Lundgren comes from a long line of fiddlers, first learning American old-time from his father and grandfather before expanding into Irish music. He has performed professionally at dances, concerts, pubs, and community events, and currently plays with the Bend Pops Orchestra.

Sandra Peevers began her musical journey with roots blues and folk guitar. Her passion and studies have grown to include jazz and traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, Québec, and Scandinavia. Her lifelong love of instruments has expanded her collection to include mandolin, baritone ukulele, and tin whistle—proving the gates are open to good music from any style or region.
