    Float The River

    Relax on any inflatable device in the water and float down the Deschutes River from the Old Mill District to Drake Park. It is a must do on your list of all things Bend. Rental equipment is available from Sun Country Tours at Riverbend Park including tubes and life vests. Join the crowd and float down the river then ride the shuttle back to Riverbend Park.

    Mountain Biking

    There are plenty of trails to ride just minutes away in Bend. Phil's trail complex is located on Skyliner Road and there are several trails leaving from Wanoga Sno-park as well as the river trail. (NW Forest Pass is required at most trail head parking lots).

    Cascade Welcome Center - Explore the forest

    The Cascade Welcome Center is located on Cascade Lakes Highway and is staffed by the Forest rangers. It's a great place to get directions and maps, learn about hiking and biking trails to explore, and purchase NW Forest day passes. There are many trail heads beginning at the parking lot so you can start off your mountain, lake and wildlife adventures. NW Forest pass is required at most trailhead parking lots.

    Deschutes River Trail

    Located on the banks of the Deschutes River, our Bend, Oregon hotel offers easy access to the scenic Deschutes River Trail. Just a few blocks west from the hotel on Mt. Washington Drive, the 3.2-mile Deschutes River Trail’s Awbrey Reach section — just one section of the extensive trail system — is perfect for walking the dog, hiking with friends, running to enjoy the river views or visit close by Sawyer Park.
